Over the years I have gotten to photograph so many beautiful families and couples but the sessions that mean the most to me are the ones that come back to me each year. This builds such a unique relationship that makes them so much more comfortable in front of the camera. And I get to watch as their family grows over the years and it is the coolest experience. I got to capture this beautiful family’s photos a couple of months back and it was the best Playful San Diego Beach Photoshoot
Capturing the King Family Over the Years
Another family that I love- I grow such great connections and bonds with families that continue to use me over the years to document all their memories. It means so much and I swear it makes every session get better and better! The connections I’m able to make with the kids + the parents are amazing.
I actually knew Breanna from my first job at a grocery store, she was my manager! Crazy how life circles back around, I reconnected with her again once I started taking my photography seriously!! I’m so glad she reached out.
Family Photoshoot at the Beach
For their family photoshoot, we headed to the beach, one of my favorite places in San Diego to take family photos. The weather is almost always great here year-round. The white sand, dark blue ocean, and blue sky create the perfect backdrop for a photoshoot. Oh, and it’s one of the best places to take photos with kids because they can run around in the sand and water and we can capture more of a documentary-style session.
This session was so fun particularly because the girls are getting older and it’s so fun getting their little personalities to come out! They laughed and ran around with their parents and it was just one of the most precious moments.
My goal ALWAYS when photographing is to make sure that my clients are having fun. People often don’t enjoy photos because they have to sit still and pose. That’s not how I do it. I want to capture the real, raw, and playful moments. Genuine laughs, big smiles, and moments you never want to forget.
