A Unique Family Maternity Photoshoot
If there’s one thing about me, it’s that I love doing things out of the box. So when people come to me wanting something unique in their photoshoot, it gets me so excited. This beautiful family wanted to do a maternity session at the beach but wanted it to be a little different. So we did a beach family maternity photoshoot with a mattress and it was perfection.
A Magical Evening
It was a magical evening spent cuddling their little ones. So yes, a mattress is always a good idea and yes I carried it down and it was 100% worth it. Jumping off of the cliffs into the arms you feel safest, running from high tide, and watching the sunset all while catching beached ladybugs. It was truly one of the most magical evenings. What a night – capturing their sloe motion before welcoming baby brother.
Whether you want to bring a mattress to the beach or run around in the sand dunes, I always encourage my clients to try to do something that their little ones will enjoy. I want to capture their genuine smiles and laughs. I want to capture the joy you feel seeing your kids play in the water or the sand. Things are never perfect with little ones and so I feel its important to embrace the chaos. Run around, splash in the water, roll around in the sand, and let’s capture memories that you never want to forget.
